To all of my GRROWLS friends, I wanted to let you all know that I am settling into my new life on the farm with Ma and Pa. Everything smells so good here, I am wearing out my nose sniffing my way around 60 acres. We explore more each day, lots of walking! My name is now Sadie, isn’t that a great name for a country girl? I was a very good girl on the 3 hour ride home on Saturday. Sunday morning I had a bath in my very own bathtub and then sat on the porch to get brushed and dry in the sun. I am so soft and fluffy! The farmer came to plow Ma’s garden to get it ready for planting and that was fun to watch. I have met 5 of the grandkids already and they all hugged me and petted me. If they stopped petting me too soon, I just tapped them gently to remind them to continue! Friends and neighbors stopped by all day Sunday to meet me too, I feel so popular. Ma has today off and we are going to be planting some vegetable seeds in the garden after our walk. Last night we had a campfire in the backyard and watched the sun go down. Beautiful night. I fell fast asleep, snoring by the fire. Then we came inside and I got to sleep on my new doggy bed next to Ma and Pa’s bed. I am trying to make friends with the kitties and one of them is starting to like me, the other only comes around when I am sleeping. Here are some photos of my first few days. As you can see, I am happy and loved. Thanks so much to all of my GRROWLS friends who helped make this possible. I will send you more updates from my new forever home..
With love, Sadie (formerly Amber)
