Kaylee was originally adopted from the local animal shelter at the age of 6 months by a woman who thought that it was OK to leave her in the yard or her laundry room.  Kaylee was given to GRROWLS at the age of approximately 10 months because she “didn’t bond with people” and kept escaping from the yard through the broken fence.  When Kaylee came into GRROWLS she was a bit of a wild child, and the foster home that took her in at this time asked her to be removed, as they weren’t able to work with her.  With the help of a local boarding facility for daycare, and lots of exercise and socialization, Kaylee was adopted by  her foster home.  She loves all people, and has become a well socialized, confident dog who was able to obtain her Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog International certifications.
