LONDON

I am often asked if London was a “GRROWLS dog”. London was certainly rescued, or as most of us say, rescued me. He was a stray that took quite a while to learn how to live inside a home. The “GRROWLS dog” part is something different. He was not adopted through the GRROWLS program, but he definitely was a GRROWLS volunteer- as much as any human volunteer we have. He assisted with many GRROWLS fundraisers, offering up his belly for belly rubs and attracting children and adult potential adopters, potential volunteers and contributors to come over and learn about GRROWLS. He helped out at many home visit evaluations, and when he was much younger even taught folks that a young exuberant dog may not be the best fit for their family. He was also a great asset during dog evaluations. Yes, London was certainly a GRROWLS dog.  RIP, big gentle boy.
