“King of Charm”
He came to us at 7, no longer useful to the breeder we got 2 of his puppies from. Kept mostly outside alone, he had become a “problem”, digging, and chewing on the fencing surrounding his home to the point that his teeth were worn down – terrified of storms. We didn’t know if he’d ever truly warm up to anyone, but we did know that we could give him the real home all dogs deserve. What we discovered was a gentle soul within unaffected by the neglect. We hoped he could learn to be happy, but never imagined he would teach us that grace and dignity aren’t uniquely human traits. “King of Charm” indeed. Thankfully, he was always at my side for the next 7 yrs. He is truly missed every day. Farewell our KC.
