CHLOE

It is with a huge hole in my heart that I let you know that our Chloe crossed over Rainbow Bridge yesterday morning. She did not make it to her two year cancer free anniversary but as the Dr. said to me when I left Orchard Park that day - enjoy each and every day you have w/ her and we truly did. Her whole life! Our vet felt she had a brain lesion and that was causing all her symptoms. It just makes me so sad that our goldens sometimes have to go through such hard endings when they have given us such total love, companionship and just such joy. It was a hard decision but I just could not see her go on the way she was. I have wonderful memories of her last few weeks w/ me - and so many wonderful memories of her life w/ us. She was a very special girl with a wonderful personality and a great spirit and especially a huge smile always.

She loved her GRROWLS events. She was always one to sit in the chairs behind the tables and love when people gave her lots of attention. She was always a "Princess" - most things were done on her terms. She loved the home visits and could always work the families and make them fall in love with her. One lady when we were filling out the papers said I want one just like her!

She was one of a kind and I really think it was meant to be that she was part of our family. She was 12 years old but part of our family for 10 years. Thanks to Sue Glinski & her original owner Laura (who loved her so much) we were brought together. My sister, son Jeff & I often talk about our first introduction at Sue's and how we fell in love w/ her instantly and I think her w/ us.

Her sister Bailey, Penny & brother Riley are grieving right along w/ the family. I miss her so much.

I found this quote in a golden card when she was just beginning to get sick and it so fits our goldens and all our pets!

"At one glance, I loved you with a thousand hearts"!
