BELLA

Our family adopted Bella in the spring of 2005. We had never rescued before and this was a new experience for us. I remember going to see Bella and meeting this meek, shy, little golden. She had such a sweet quiet personality and so we decided to bring her home. She was from a puppymill and had to get used to everything including my husband and walking on a leash. It took a few months but she warmed up to everyone and got used to walking. She got along great with our other goldens that we had. (We had 3 rescued goldens during Bella's lifetime with us and she got along great with each one). Bella was a healthy girl right up until the last week when she fell ill. She had developed cancer and her heart was failing also. We made that heartbreaking decision that all pet owners know all too well.  I am so blessed to have had her for these many years and miss her now very much.  Amazingly even though she was so quiet around the house, the house still seems very
quiet without her. Our family misses Bella very much and we know she is in a better place now.  We will always love you, our Little Bella.
