SIMBA
When 1 year old Simba feels safe, he is a delight; lovable, playful and curious. He loves being part of a family. He is a dog who loves to cuddle and can play with his toys on his own, but also loves to chase balls and sticks. He is a smart dog who really wants to please his people.
He enjoys playing with other dogs. He is working on his fear of strangers, especially men. This can be seen when someone new comes into his house or when he meets strangers when out on a walk. He will bark intensely at them.
These behaviors are improving as the foster family works with him. He needs strong leadership with a family who will help continue to build his confidence and who are willing to use positive training techniques.
