Abbey was the best dog in the whole world. I called her my girlfriend.
She had eyes that could look into your soul. Abbey was happy, playful,
funny, silly and obedient. She had a great personality and disposition. She
would hop into anyone's car if the door was left open, she would ride in my
car and stand over my left shoulder with her nose to the window, she would
lay between the bathtub and toilet on the tile floor on hot days, she
sniffed many lawns before she found that special spot. Abbey was rescued from a
basement by Teri Vigars and never went down into one ever again, not
even to see my new washer and dryer. After three days of throwing up and
collapsing, on Jan. 8, 2007, she pleaded to me with her soulful eyes to send her to
the Rainbow Bridge.
