The Campbell family decided to adopt a dog as a companion for their 11-year-old daughter whose older brothers and sisters had all gone off on their own. Brandy, who was 2-years-old, had been abandoned by her owner and spent the winter in a chicken coop. Adopted by the Campbells in April of 1994, she became a loved and loving family member. She is a wonderful companion to daughter Mary Erin and, though Goldens are gentle dogs, she is the "gentle of the gentle". |
